Baumeier recently worked with a client in the Niagara region to create an electronic file of their product. Due to an increase in customer demand, a capacity problem had been created, requiring Baumeier’s team to employ SolidWorks, CMM and Reverse Engineering techniques to establish information in a digital format. Working closely with the client, Baumeier gathered all the necessary details to meet the stringent requirements of the aerospace industry. The new electronic file successfully increased capacity while significantly shortening lead times. Now, this client in Niagara is able to meet the demand without an increase in manpower or equipment expenditure.
