ISO 9001:2000 Certified
As part of our commitment to our customers, our Waterjet and Laser Division recently became ISO: 9001:2000 certified. Our Engineered Products Division had previously earned the ISO 9001:2000 registration. Baumeier strives to maintain and continually improve the effectiveness of our quality management system to ensure that products and services conform to contractual requirement.

 

 

Capabilities

Baumeier has the experience and capability to meet virtually all advanced cutting needs. Customers drawings in a variety of formats including AutoCAD 14 – 2000, DWG, DXF, EPS, Adobe Illustrator and vector formatted Corel Draw can be used to program the cutting equipment.

Conventional Waterjet

Conventional waterjet cutting is used to cut a broad range of material using a variety of water and abrasive mixtures under high pressure. The range of material that can be cut with a high degree of precision is enormous varying from film, foam and cardboard to stainless steel and granite and from thickness of .001 to 10 inches. Material loss is minimized as complex computer programs are deployed to ensure the most efficient layout and widths of cuts are only .01 to .05 inches.

Dynamic Waterjet

Dynamic Waterjet with Active Tolerance Control is an advance motion, 3-D kinematics system that provides tilt control to cut parts faster and with greater accuracy and is specifically designed to eliminate edge taper. This advanced Waterjet technology is used on jobs requiring a higher degree of precision on corners. It can be used on the same broad range of material as conventional Waterjet technology.

Laser

CNC laser cutting process is designed to cut a variety of materials to precise specifications. Cutting programs ensure the most efficient layout of material. The laser beam is guided through mirrors from the stationary laser resonator to the moveable cutting head while the material lies stationary on the cutting table. The distance between the cutting nozzle and the work piece is automatically held constant to ensure a precise cutting operation. The equipment adjusts cutting speeds and power based upon the complexity and type of material being cut.
